Worship Ministries 

Acolytes assist the priest with our liturgical form of worship as Altar Servers, Crucifers and Flag Bearers. Training is provided.

Members of the Altar Guild assist the priest by preparing the altar for all worship services. The Altar Guild orders supplies and cares for the linens, candles, wine and wafers, and communion vessels.

Chalice Ministers serve the chalice at each service of Eucharist. They are trained through The Diocese of Colorado as “Lay Eucharistic Ministers.”

The choir sings at worship and special services and practice mid-week.

Counters work in pairs on Monday mornings by assisting the Parish Administrator with sorting and counting the collection and other income.

Eucharistic Visitors receive training from The Diocese of Colorado and bring communion

to the sick and/or homebound following our Sunday morning Eucharist.

Lay Readers read the lessons and psalm during our Sunday morning Eucharist and at special services.  Readings are provided in advance.

Open the church prior to church service, and lock up after.

Bible Study based on the Episcopal Lectionary.  Meets Thursdays at 10:30am and 6:00p

An informal Eucharist follows Bible Study each Thursday at noon.  In the absence of a

priest, the Order for Morning Prayer is used from the Book of Common Prayer.

Ushers welcome people to worship on Sunday mornings and pass out bulletins as people enter the church. They also welcome newcomers by giving them a welcome bag and inviting them to coffee hour and introducing them to current members.
